So Ford was considering a “baby Lincoln” even before Cadillac had the Seville and Chrysler had the Cordoba? Very interesting.

A good but smaller car could have been a success following the oil crisis.
I wonder if something Europe-designed in this size was in the post oil crisis plans for any of their other brands?
