I installed the same fog lights (and covers) on my 1984 Camry in the early ’90s.
Those Dodge Omnis are actually VW Rabbits built in Westmoreland PA, IIRC.

Those things could honestly run forever. There was some sort of hex/curse/charm that Iacocca put on them. A friend of mine in high school had one that had well over 300k miles on it and it showed no signs of slowing down. I think rust eventually got the ones up here in the north, but even though the components behind them weren’t particularly great, you simply couldn’t kill those old Omnis/Horizons.
