  1. Late 90’s to mid 00’s Fiat group (Fiat, Lancia, Alfa Romeo) cars were huge on that kind of interior details, imo. At first, I thought it’s really clinical (no pun intended) but as the years go by, nobody hasn’t designed anything like that since. You can even find it on 1999-2006 Iveco Daily or old Stralis tractor-trailers.

    It’s the plastic color and the molded look. One of my favorite random anecdotes recently was someone pointing out that this piece of medical equipment uses the same mold as the old Atari Jaguar:

    Interestingly, the multipla’s exterior looks like something for which you would seek medical attention

    Yeah, I see it actually. Still pretty cool though, I miss colourful interiors.
