Hey guys so I just picked this ford focus up for $1000 so that I can put less miles on my mitsu. It’s a 2003 2.0L with 187,000 miles. Any problems I should keep an eye out for?

Everything seems well maintained trans fluids a healthy color, no leaks, oil up kept up on etc.. Only thing she really needs is some new tires.

I had an 02 that I drove the absolute shit out of for over a decade and the only thing that failed was the AC compressor. I only got rid of because I was hit by a fire truck.

Yeah it’s a Ford Focus with 187k miles.

Why do you want to put less miles on your Mitsubishi?

$1000 for anything that runs and drives is a win in my book. I’d consider it low miles too

Idk much about the focus except my dad had one and i bought one from scrap and both were driven into the ground , tough little cars but a touchy standard trans in both (went through clutches but i think that was me)

The biggest problem I had with ours is how light they are. As long as you don’t have to drive it through snow.

My Ford Focus ZX-3 had 205000 miles before I sold it. My only major complaint was refilling the AC Refrigerant lol.
The car itself was bulletproof, and great on gas!

They’re trash in snow and heavy rain even with great tires. Loud valve chatter. Standard transmission roll pin failure. Some parts, even basic brake parts, are no longer able to be sourced. Cheap interior parts that fail.
