$35,795 with the federal tax credit for the base model with 319 miles of range. With the promise of a $7k cheaper trim by the end of the year.
Even without the 1LT, this undercuts every competing crossover out there by a couple thousand dollars. If they can manage to sell the 1LT in high numbers, this would be a game-changing vehicle.

Its great to have more choices in the space. More competition, Good for consumers

Zero chance GM can make these in any meaningful numbers without huge reliability issues. Check the /r/CadillacLyriq subreddit.

Just sell the smallest cheapest EV you can make that still charges quickly. It can be 150 miles range if it charges from 0 to 80% in 15 minutes. That would have been the true modern Bolt upgrade. Because now this is too big to appeal to the cheap economy hatchback crowd who wanted the Bolt, and it’s too expensive for what it is. For the price of one of these I could add just a few grand more and get a barely used F150 lightning and have an infinitely more capable vehicle. It’s going to be big and inefficient compared to a hatchback anyway, might as well get the Lightning, you can straight up live in that motherfucker. But a giant overgrown hatchback that looks like an SUV and has none of the good features of either and all of the bad features of both, for damn near the same price?
I guess I’m just confused who the fuck this is for? The same people who are already spoiled for choice in the $30-$40k electric crossover market segment? But then, why would any of them buy this over a Model Y? Or why not just lease a BZ4X for $150/month for 3 years or whatever the deal was if you want an electric crossover at the lowest overall cost possible? There’s basically no reason to buy this thing unless they literally give it away with incentives and cash back etc.

And hopefully they’ll bring back the Bolt EUV with a sedan variant in 2026.

Too little and far too late. They could have built a better vehicle for consumers and the environment decades ago.

Can they beat the ipad on wheels?
Would love one.
Won’t buy a vehicle without CarPlay.
Zero shot without CarPlay and at that price.
