Anybody else getting some “Who is John Galt?” vibes lately?

  2. They announced mass layoffs. Are they supposed to ‘loudly’ announce taking down job postings?

let me post in the voice of Sandy Munro, “Well would you hire if you had the best company in the world that does everything the best? Sales staff? Don’t need them Teslas sell themselves. Engineers? Don’t need them, they are already the best designed cars around. Mechanics? No one needs mechanics everyone wants a new car in 2 years. Why would you hire anyone when you have the perfect business?”

  4. Oh drat, I was hoping there would be an opening for SVP of Supercharger.

Elon’s really going scorched earth on this whole compensation package.

“Quietly” is such a subtly slimy word in these headlines. Like are they supposed to have made a public press release that they were removing job postings?

He can try all these pumping strategies all he wants. There’s a limit.

  8. Quietly? Tesla isn’t a government agency or a labor union. Ridiculous article.

Am I the only one who thinks Tesla is being ridiculous, you’d think they are going bankrupt the way they’ve laid off recently. I get redundant roles but like wtf

A hiring freeze is exactly how you pivot to AI and robots.

Meanwhile, OpenAI has dozens of jobs listed on it’s careers page.

This is all because Elon kept flapping his trap.

  13. I wish there was an option to automatically ignore links to certain news organizations. Would be great if those using tactics like this just got ignored by everyone.

Economy is having some problems. I know 6 or 7 businesses that went out of business and closed up shop in the past 6 months. After summer of 2023 things started dropping off for a lot of contractors work wise.

  15. Company is dead. Good luck to everyone who has one.

And for those that pander elons lies I guarantee you they will investigate anyone with any kind of following ENRON style.

This is a ponzi scheme and will be remembered as one of the biggest schemes of our time.

Unsafe, unreliable vehicles that the CEO told people WOULD increase in value and SELF DRIVES.

Just the litigation on FSD will kill them. The rest is just gravy.

    Done. Over.

    Endless demand, trust me bro!

I wonder if Elon regrets not pursuing under pretax/incentive $25K and commerical van in luie of Cybertruck?
