More than likely, the SL isn’t a popular subject for replicas, and those are usually the coupe not the convertible.
The big three that are almost always replicas are the Cobra, the Porsche 356 Speedster, and the Ferrari 250 GTO

There exist also very expensive and highly detailed replicas of all 300 SL models. There was a dealer in Germany who made those and sold them as true. The company now was overtaken by Mercedes Classics because of the skills of the personal. Sometimes you need a real expert to identify one of these replica. You have to spent up to 300k for those. Don’t compare them with cheaper Porsche, Cobra and Ferrari replicas made of fiberglas.
