    Based on the chassis of the VAZ-2106(Basically a Fiat 124) and the engine from some VAZ-2101-2107 models

    In the early 2000s one of the few examples produced was converted into electric and renamed to Proton, using the motor from an electric forklift, powered by lead batteries. (The yellow example in the last pics)

    Specs:

    1.5 petrol 71 hp engine

    Manual, and RWD.

    Dig it in a Soviet way – it’s like a proletariat Alfa Montreal and a TR7, maybe with a spritz on AMC Javelin.

    Oh and so I’m always a fan of the Bertone roof spoiler. I think that should be a required feature.
