Well, how’s this for an engine swap?

    • Inspired by a [mainline Hot Wheels car](https://images.hobbydb.com/processed_uploads/catalog_item_photo/catalog_item_photo/image/382758/Whatta_Drag___Model_Cars_acff3bac-b95f-4a2f-9f0a-1379c2076f15.jpg) designed by Phil Riehlman introduced in 1998

    • John Eversley of Evermoor Engineering LTD was commissioned by a car collector in 2005 to build a life-sized, fully functioning version. Every detail was accounted for, including a large Hot Wheels tampo on top of the spoiler. Only one example was built.

    • Supercharged Chevrolet 502 big block V8 delivering 730 horsepower (545 kW) to the enormous single rear wheel through a two-speed manual transmission.

    • Although it is fully functional, the Whatta Drag is strictly a show car due to obvious safety concerns. For this reason, top speed, torque, and other specific performance indices are unknown.

This was my favorite hot wheel as a kid, didn’t know a real version existed

They could at least attempt to make it look remotely functional.
