I pulled out my Riviera from the garage today and found a chewed up piece of rubber. Still don’t know where it came from. Looks like maybe a rubber exhaust hanger or something. I also found a dead mouse not too far away. Not sure why it died. Anyways I was curious if there’s anything I can spray on my undercarriage to deter them. My car sits on the ground and I guess it makes it easier for the mice to mess with it.

Yes. Obviously immediately after rain or driving through puddles too. Or spray it on the ground around it. I think moth balls also work, but I’m not sure.

Peppermint oil + stuff every nook and cranny with dryer sheets (they work as well as mothballs but don’t smell like shit)

Fluid Film. Keeps the underbody from rusting and mice don’t like the lanolin that it’s made of.

Don’t eat peanut butter in or near your car. Trust me.

I use HF sound generators that make mice angry. You can get them on amazon and I keep one plugged into an extension cord

Put mouse poison on the outside of where your car is stored…. Not inside… If put inside it brings mice into your storage facility. Poison should be put out year around!!

My mechanic suggested Coast deodorant soap. Cut it up, spread it around, super smelly, critters hate it.

The best… But most expensive option is to do a full rewire with new wiring. The old wires have a vegetable oil based coating and it smells like food to the critters, The new stuff Doesn’t have any of that stuff and it doesn’t attract them. But having moisture resistant bait blocks All around the perimeter of your storage area does wonders .

Peppermint oil. Mice don’t like the smell.
