I know it’s an impala, but ever since someone described the rear end as a “skeptical dracula” I can’t unsee it. The continental kit just makes it look like a bat. Probably why his license is BAT59.

59 Impala, probably 283 dual exhaust with 4GC carb. If it’s original, that is. This was the most extreme taillight styling Chevy ever had. All other years had two red and one white round taillights per side.

Just seeing the taillights is enough to know it’s a ’59 Chevy, the famous cat eyes. The license plate kinda gives it away too.

When I was a teenager, one of my explorer friends, dad, had a red 59 ElCamino fire chiefs car. It won a few awards at some car shows. It definitely was a sweet ride.
