Always had a soft spot for these. The base model was pretty underpowered but when they eventually dropped the LS1 into the WS6 package it got the engine it deserved.

Fun to drive, look good, only way to park the sum bitch is to back it in.

Always looked great, could also equip them well too with the higher end engines.

I absolutely adore it, but only this version specifically, the facelift 4th gen. The WS6 Collector’s Edition Convertible is one of my unicorn cars.

One of the few post malaise era GM vehicles I like.

    Actually cool, despite earlier missteps

Loved it as long as the suspension wasn’t all blown out… I didn’t like the low rider look.

A customer of mine still has his 1997 or 1998 trans-am with the WS6 package.

First brand new car he bought when he got out of college. It is completely as stock and has 80k on it I think. Great car.

Trashy but lovable, like a big-titted stripper with a heart of gold.

LS1 + T56 is fast and fun. On paper, modern cars are better performers, but the truth is that the vast majority of drivers will never push one of these to its limits, let alone something with even more power.

The combo I mentioned actually gets pretty great gas mileage on the highway, but I don’t find them very comfortable for long rides.

Loved the hood scoops. Much better looking than the Camaro. Once inside you couldn’t tell the difference from a cavalier.

Uncle had one, dark blue. Such a nice car. Sounded amazing, drove amazing, looked bad ass! Ram Air WS6 with the T-Tops, such an american classic!

Wish i bought it off him. He didnt tell me he was selling it though until a week after it was gone. He didnt know i was looking for a new car either. Shame.
