1952 Executive Flagship. “The president of the house trailers builder company Mid-State Corporation William MacDonald went wild while designing this one. A 65 feet long ten-wheels 18 tons behemoth. Above at the rear it has a flat surface which served both as a sun deck and helicopter pad.”

Seems like very few wheels for such a big ass thing.
Our local supermassive RV retailer used to have something resembling this! I think it was a haul truck, covered into a camper, it even had the helipad (for a massive RC helicopter but it was still huge the size of a man). Didn’t know it was probably based on this historical piece
Is that where the term ‘land yacht’ comes from?
What helicopter model is that?

Having a little experience with helicopter take-offs and landings, I can only assume that the dishes in that camper, like the windows, are all unbreakable plastic!
