The secret of using a plug-in hybrid is to charge it as often as possible. Charging in a standard socket in 7 hours covers most uses. Using a reinforced plug and cable can halve the charging time.
If the vehicle is equipped with an optional 7.4 kW on-board charger, it is possible to divide the recharging time by 4 when connected to a Wallbox or a public station.
