The original company, Aptera Motors, Inc., was founded in 2005 and liquidated in 2011. Currently, Aptera is working hard to secure the funds needed to restart production in order to avoid a second failure. Aptera is unlikely to go down the sion route. it appears that the business’s plan has been successful because they are now much closer to ramp up production than they were a few months ago.
