GWM Ora electric car 2023 review: The MG4 EV’s new rival – but is Great Wall’s Funky Cat a Good Cat?

GWM already counts Haval amongst its sub-brands, but now it’s added Ora, which specialises in electric cars. And what better way to launch it than with an eponymous small hatchback? That’s right; this is the 2023 GWM Ora.

Known in other markets as the GWM Funky Cat or Good Cat, the Ora arrives in Australia with a ‘slightly’ more sensible name and big ambitions, as it’s now positioned itself as one of the cheapest EVs money can buy. His verdict may surprise you…
