Child Labor in Electric Car Manufacturing



The EV revolution is upon us. But, is the green revolution truly green? Well, Governments and carmakers are fully invested in electric cars and they show no signs of slowing down. But it turns out that EVs produce a little more than zero emissions, and worse than that, the process of manufacturing Lithium-Ion batteries has proven to be highly conflict-ridden, largely in part to huge corporations mining with exploited workers and child labor in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
