The world’s brightest young motorsport talents starred at the home of British Motor Racing as the F4 British Championship certified by FIA – powered by Ford EcoBoost title battle rolled on to Silverstone. Alex Quinn returned to the scene of his 2016 British F4 Rookie title triumph and won the opening race of the weekend. After a storming start Jamie Caroline looked on course to take victory in Round 26, but Carlin team-mate Logan Sargeant had other ideas and snatched victory. Meanwhile Oscar Piastri won the finale to set up a showdown for the title with Caroline at the final meeting of the season.
