Does PHEV make sense? – 11 (Un)Reasonably Priced Plug-in Hybrids (ENG) – Marek Drives



Plug-in hybrids are supposed to ease our transition from internal combustion engines to EVs. We can daily commute on short distances using electricity, but during longer road trips, there’s no range anxiety, because a petrol engine has our back. Is this the perfect combination of powertrains? Or the worst that both worlds? Do plug-in hybrids even make sense?
