Energy kWh and real state of charge (BMS SOC) in Ford KUGA PHEV plug-in hybrid, at 0 km electric range on display. This car has 14.4 kWh hybrid battery.
15% SOC bottom buffer is used to help vehicle acceleration even when hybrid battery is completely depleted (0km electric range).
in Car Scanner Elm Obd2 app (full version is called Car Scanner PRO) you should select connection profile: Ford PHEV plug-in Hybrid
(you can use built-in dashboard layout from another connection profile: Ford Mustang Mach-E/F150 Lightning)
I used Icar Vgate 2 bluetooth elm327 adapter.
Car Scanner shows real SOC, battery min/max temperature, battery power kW, charger parameters, auxiliary 12V battery voltage, etc.
Settings/Units change HP to kW
activate GPS speed, GPS elevation and GPS location data, if needed (in Data Recording you will see your trip on Google map)
Car Scanner has configurable dashboard – modify colors, shapes, size of sensors on the screen. Mach-E profile has pre-configured dashboard (Dashboard/Reset dashboard to default).
Car Scanner reads DTC error codes, over 200 parameters, but has no function coding (for coding use Forscan).
Connection profile Ford PHEV plug-in Hybrid works in all plugin hybrids: Focus, Maverick, Mondeo, Puma, Kuga, Escape, Fusion, F150, etc.

New 12V battery BMS reset procedure in Ford (not sure if it works in KUGA PHEV):
1. Put the car in accessory mode (push start button without depressing brake pedal)
2. Flash the high beams relatively quickly five times
3. Depress and release the brake pedal three times
4. Wait 3-10 seconds and the battery icon on the instrument panel will flash.
5. Your BMS is now reset.
