We are at tataa Motors or tata. EV as the Brand’s Electric Division is known as we’re at their showroom inauguration it is an electric only showroom as you guessed yes it means they will be selling only the electric range so let’s head over right [Applause] In so as soon as you get inside you’ll notice a completely different look and feel to any other tataa showroom and that’s because the corporate identity the CI is completely different the color scheme as you can see behind me it’s brown and uh green or teal uh as it’s
Officially called the color name and it looks really nice and warm and I particularly like it gives it a very warm earthy feel a little bit of a retro feel as well with the color and the fonts and that’s all over the showroom uh Tata says it’s intentional because
This is an ecofriendly Zone and it’s not just to sell EVS but they want the store to be like like an ecohub for the entire region that it’s based in now one of the reasons why they want this or they say this will be an eco-friendly zone is tataa Motors wants
To collaborate with a lot of eco-friendly Brands so brands that sell Eco products in fact this corner here tataa says in this particular showroom will be for partners to come in and set up their eco-friendly products so they can come in on weekends weekdays whenever sell and connect with customers
All sorts of Eco Weare now over this side also there will be an area where again partner Brands can come in uh get uh their workshops done things like how to live an eco-friendly life how to recycle and speaking of it recycling uh these showrooms or these centers will
Also accept uh Eco waste for recycling so people can come here and drop off that waste and that’s really a nice touch now the construction of the showroom 2 is very eco-friendly in fact uh if you look at this area all of the material the uh Furniture tataa say has
Been built with a lot of reclaimed and recycled material in fact this glass over here tataa say was originally there in this uh showroom complex and they decided to retain it and reuse it uh so also some of the decorative elements around here a lot of recycle and reclaim
Materials used all around so apart from the Eco construction and all of the Eco materials there’s also a fair bit of tech inside the showrooms uh as you can see here this is a large screen it’s a touch screen where you can get in and basically plan your TV see different
Colors and things like that uh it’s not operational right now uh at the inauguration but the showrooms will be thrown open to public on the 7th of Jan and that’s when you can come in and take a good look around the screen behind me there is also another sort of uh
Computer or a screen where you can plan your journey a look at different EV uh charging points along the way get advice from the community and things like that so uh that’s about the tech bits here uh there’s also Hospitality the other way so let’s head there
So of course there’s a coffee shop here and Tata says they have partnered with eco-friendly brands for all of the coffee and snacks and on top there is a nice Lounge area where customers can come sit discuss with the sales people in fact uh the MD of Tata was very keen
To point out that the salese here have been trained to sort of let customers browse because they feel Eevee customers being early adopters as well are quite well informed and would like to browse at their own pace so it’s not going to be a high press environment tataa says
Uh for sales but just where they will enable eco-friendly electric only dialogues uh that’s the aim of the showroom now what will it do in the long run that’s what we have to see it is a challenge of course having a separate electric only showrooms and having uh
Your ice and regular cars in another showroom which means the next on Ice versions will be at another showroom the next on eeve would be here same with the tigar and the Thiago so that’s sort of creates a little confusion or maybe distraction for a consumer but it could
Work if maruti has done that with the Nexa Tata could with EV showrooms Too
