Hi everyone I’m Madison Everts I am the four-wheel PR coordinator for American Honda and we are here at beautiful Mid America outdoors in J Oklahoma we are here for the release of the allnew Talon 1000 R4 fox live Valve we are super excited about this model it’s an all new model completing the Talon family uh the 1000 R4 has been a ton of fun to drive out here on these tra we’ve had media coming in and out all week trying out the car testing it we’ve
Been out on the trails and if you look behind me we’ve been on the brand new rally cross trck at Mid [Applause] America here to test out the brand new Talon 1 R4 with fox live valve just came back from a really cool night ride it was a great idea by Honda to do this night ride because it’s just completely different element and it was great just to sort of check out the accessories the
Most impressive feature that I found was the improvements made to the I four-wheel drive it just worked so great cuz that trail that we were on it was basically composed of just 2in crushed rock so no matter where you were going on that trail it was loose so traction
Was an absolute premium so it was really cool getting to have a night ride like I’ve never been on a press trip where we got a night ride before so that’s pretty that’s pretty dope cuz it’s a different experience and this was also a different experience for me since I’m used to a
Lot of open desert racing and here like you’re just surrounded by all this green and you can still hear the noise of the cicas and the Crickets and all that stuff over the noise of the engine and that is pretty Awesome man the hills of Oklahoma are always a good time the broken rock and the ups and downs and the creek broson are always a good time so the fox live Valley suspension really plays a big part in uh saving your back and your kidneys when you’re out in these rough
Environments and uh keeps it kind of a consistent experience where uh some platforms may have you go super soft or super hard uh this kind of keeps it really steady like you you feel the same ride experience from beginning to end with the live valve on these new Talons
And it’s a it’s a really good comfortable experience I do like all the storage I’m big on storage and has a nice has lot of good compartments in it whatnot the molded doors are nice nice little armrest in there place for your water bottle put your phone everything really really good comfortable [Applause]
Car tell me you got that oh my God no it was pretty awesome like the talent handle is insane even through like the water and through everything we put it through today and I think what’s most impressive is I’ve never done this before this is my very first time I look
Like a semi-pro just because the vehicle does so much for you that you don’t have to think that much about it really stoked to have this uh Talon race machine here in Oklahoma we’re going to be giving some media rides in it and uh looking forward to seeing their faces
And the thrill that uh they can see when uh we race this thing at race pce this is a multi Baja 1000 champion and multi Baja 500 Champion so this car has got a lot of pedigree here in Oklahoma and I can’t wait to share it with everybody here Oh no this is great this thing just eats everything too yeah exactly I like didn’t think that was possible this thing I’m pretty sure it was mostly him driving handle it through the trees and all the bushes and the rocks and very narrow spaces but this
Thing just took it like a champ and it’s just like such a big difference from what we were driving to obviously being in an actual race car that’s all dialed in and everything especially with a Pro driver but honestly it’s just really cool to experience like the what you get
From the factory to the sky a limit and anything can be built to just make it do whatever you’d please you know some people will do like the whole camping type Overland style thing but this is my go-to especially coming from like the road race drag racing stuff this thing
Is sick can never do this at a drag strip I mean he’s pretty calm I’d take him as a CO [Applause] Driver it’s they’re very family focused so they make machines and they make accessories that let you share your experience and so you’re having fun but the people with you are having fun and that’s one of the greatest things for me being a family guy is that you know I
