Today I will show you how to integrate and use the my Porsche app in apple carplay it Out my Porsche in apple carplay is a new enhancement to your Porsche incar experience delivered through Apple carplay it integrates several vehicle functions into Apple carplay in more depth and combines them with useful functions out of Apple’s ecosystem some examples are the control of audio and sound settings like radio favorites
And sound profiles climatization functions and scenarios and the integration of Apple point of Interest recommendations to enable all these features you need to start the setup in the my Porsche app you can find it in the Apple App Store please make sure that you already have set up your
Porsche ID open the my Porsche app and log in with the credentials that match your vehicle select it go to details and then switch to the functions tab then click on the my Porsche in apple carplay tile to activate the my Porsche in the Apple carplay app you first need to pay
Your smartphone with your vehicle to start the process click on get started now in the new my Porsche in apple carplay function area you will find the overview of the available spaces in the app spaces are like placeholders where you can place your favorite functionalities individually when you click on this
White button you can take settings in it here you can show hide and rearrange these space variations this way you have your settings according to your preferences immediately at hand and you can arrange them besides the vehicle functionalities you can of course select the different Apple services from
Weather pois and apple music you can rearrange the weather card Apple music and much more if you’ve done that all the changes are updated in carplay in real time to enter the Apple carplay interface just select the Apple carplay app directly on the screen of your PCM
Then click on the my Porsche app when the initial setup was done you directly experience your preferred functions within the PCM screen here you can discover the new app you can also switch between the spaces and control them I personally prefer to have easy access to my playlist as well
