Every 4Runner includes Toyota Safety Sense P for added peace of mind. A host of comfort and convenience features

Ensure that 4Runner is as practical as it is capable. Now let’s put 4Runner and Bronco side by side. 4Runner is available in seven grades, four of which are TRD grades. In addition to rear-wheel drive, select grades can be equipped with part-time four-wheel drive. TRD Off-Road, TRD Off-Road Premium, and TRD Pro feature standard part-time four-wheel drive, while Limited has the option of a full-time four-wheel drive system.

For 2024, TRD Pro gains the new Terra exterior color. On the other hand, TRD Sport, TRD Off-Road, and TRD Off-Road Premium are now available in eye-catching Solar Octane. Bronco’s nine grades are available in two or four-door configurations. All of its grades come standard with four-wheel drive

And there’s also an off-road grade, which is the Raptor. The new Code Orange Package, which includes Code Orange Accent seat belts and Code Orange tow hooks, is available on Bronco Raptor. 4Runner’s rugged looks really stand out thanks to features like standard LED exterior lighting and unique grille designs between grades. Additionally, skid plates for the engine and front suspension, as well as front and rear mudguards, protect key components from debris during off-road driving. Every 4Runner also includes a power rear glass window

For added convenience, along with standard roof rails that provide extra cargo flexibility for carrying gear. Bronco comes standard with LED headlights and distinct grilles for every grade. Bash plates are optional on the Big Bend grade and standard on Black Diamond and higher, while front splash guards and roof rails are available as standalone options. With the available third row, 4Runner’s interior offers room for up to seven. It also has generous cargo space at up to 89.7 cubic feet behind the front seats and 47.2 cubic feet behind the second row. Select grades are offered with available comfort and convenience features, like a heated steering wheel,

Heated and ventilated front seats, and a Panoramic View Monitor. On the other hand, the cabin of TRD models is further enhanced by a TRD shift knob and TRD-branded mats and floor liners. In its four-door configuration, Bronco can seat up to five. However, Bronco’s cargo capacity falls short of 4Runner

At up to 83 cubic feet behind the front seats and up to 38.3 cubic feet behind the second row. A heated steering wheel and heated front seats are available but ventilated front seats are not. Meanwhile, a 360-Degree Camera system is available on higher grades. When it comes to advanced technology, 4Runner delivers. And access various apps and services from Google including YouTube Music and Google Maps. Is also standard across the lineup. Every Bronco comes with Ford Co-Pilot 360, which contains similar features as Toyota Safety Sense. However, adaptive cruise control and evasive steering assist are only offered on upper grades as part of an optional package. Striking a balance between everyday drivability and serious off-road capability is what 4Runner does best. Available technologies like Multi-Terrain Select and Crawl Control help tackle challenging road conditions by automatically adjusting the engine throttle and braking pressure, while an available electronically controlled locking rear differential helps 4Runner regain traction in challenging road conditions.

Similarly, the available full-time four-wheel-drive system features a Torsen limited-slip center differential to help manage front to rear power distribution. Advanced suspension systems like the available X-REAS Sport Enhancement Suspension and Kinetic Dynamic Suspension are designed to adjust suspension behavior depending on the surface on which 4Runner is driving.

Meanwhile, 4Runner TRD Pro’s high-performance Fox shocks and all-terrain tires help get past the toughest terrain. Plus, it achieves all this while maintaining its 5,000-pound tow rating and standard equipment like a towing receiver hitch and wiring harness. 4Runner comes standard with 17-inch or available 20-inch wheels wrapped in mud-and-snow tires

To help firmly grip the road. In terms of power, 4Runner comes standard with a 270-horsepower four-liter V6 engine paired to a five-speed automatic transmission. Bronco is also tuned for off-road capability. On the suspension front, a High-Performance Off-Road Stability Suspension is standard. Select grades can also be equipped with Bilstein dampers or Fox shocks.

However, Bronco’s maximum towing capacity tops out at 4,500 pounds and requires the available three-liter twin-turbo V6 engine and Class Two Trailer Tow Package. Alloy wheel sizes max out at 18 inches, while some grades lack all-terrain and mud-terrain tires. In terms of engine options, Bronco comes standard with a turbocharged 2.3-liter four-cylinder engine

With 275 horsepower. Two twin-turbo V6 engines are also available. The 2.7-liter unit generates 315 horsepower, while Bronco Raptor’s three-liter unit makes 418 horsepower. Every new Toyota 4Runner comes with ToyotaCare, which provides two years or 25,000 miles, whichever comes first, of scheduled maintenance, and 24-hour Roadside Assistance for two years and unlimited miles.
