Foreign allows you the option to set location-specific profiles for how and when charging is to take place setting a departure time defines when charging should be completed by or Define preferred charging times to take advantage of off-peak electric rates your utility provider may offer for the best schedule charging experience level

Position as a charging location enter a location name and press ok to continue the first available profiles you’ll see are departure based to Define One Tap on a row the top right drop down allows you to choose repeat for a multi-day profile or one time for a single day of the week
Enter your preferences then press the back arrow to save them you may enter up to three separate departure profiles for location scroll down to reveal additional charging settings you can save to this location set a direct charging to setting to add a minimum level of charge regardless of the profile’s timing saving the
Remainder of the charging to occur based on the set schedule you may also set a location-specific charge to limit scroll down further and you’ll see the preferred times profiles tap a row to enter your preferences press the back arrow button to save next tap the check box of the profiles

Tapping this drop down allows you to choose a set location profile or to select immediate charging which will disregard any location profiles and charge the vehicle to the set charge limit here we are selecting charging with climate control so that the charging session will conclude at our
Departure time and the cabin will be preconditioned by climate control with your selection made exit the vehicle and connect the charge cable to the vehicle charging status will be shown by three different indicators the charge port indicator light the ID light and on the center touch screen a pulsing green
Charge port indicator light and an ID light with sequential dashes indicates the vehicle is actively charging either because immediate charging has been selected or direct charge 2 setting is in effect for a desired profile a flashing green charge port indicator light and a partial but solid ID light
Indicates no active charging and the vehicle will begin charging based on the selected set schedule charging can be stopped at any time in the infotainment system under charging when charging is complete unlock the vehicle wait for the white light and disconnect the charging plug
