There’s going to be new bikes coming in eventually uh companies will continue to be be offering things and I’ll make some decisions whether I will take those bikes on or not take those bikes on um as I mentioned before in the past you know there’s there’s a lot of ebik
Companies out there and uh they all want you know a little bit of exposure but uh many of them kind of look the same yeah I think they just buy them from the same companies and slap their name on it no I’m looking for Unique bikes something that’s unique so even if I
Have some bikes um that you know if they discontinue the bike if I like the bike I might just still keep them you know CU they’re still fun to ride and like but yeah I’d like to see a little more variety this year um I know that there
Are moped style bikes that are out uh I only had the one uh which was from Miike yeah I had the Miike um uh bike and I didn’t take any more after that because I didn’t feel like I had decent leg extension on that type of bike but then
I kind of realize now too that there are some people who watch the Rus right videos who prefer that type of bike and if if I don’t review them then of course then you don’t get to see them so I may or may not take um a couple of the uh
Moped style bikes if they’re offered to me um but I think at that point I would mention that you know this is not the style that I typically prefer but I’m re reviewing it based on on what its intent is for now the thing is on that kind of
Those kind of bikes since I probably wouldn’t be writing them past the review uh I think I would probably write them maybe once or twice and then turn around and immediately sell them off so you might see some more available more more available bikes for
Me uh after I do a review like that now if it is from you know some of our other companies that I prefer and uh like um those styles of bikes I may hang on to them for a while now the thing that I noticed from last year you know by
Hanging on to the bikes you know it gets to the end of the year sometimes it’s very hard for me to even get rid of my bikes because the manufacturers might be dis discounting bikes just to get rid of it themselves so now mines would be considered used it’d have to be even
Lower than that so it takes you take a bigger hit if if you wait too long to sell off something this is true for anything it’s not just for bikes it’s for anything that you buy you know if you wait too long and Company’s discontinu product you’ll have a harder
Time you know selling off those products yourself so uh so I may end up moving bikes out faster uh this coming year than I may in the past plus I realized too you know we only have so much space in the house and um I can’t eat up every square inch of
The house with a bike so but yeah the entire living room is covered with bikes it’s I mean that shouldn’t be the case but it has turned into that so I I made my best effort last year to get rid of a number of bikes before the end of the year and um
I don’t know how many bikes I think we had something like 28 bikes total now something like 26 or 28 something like that and we’re down to 13 now so and I would I would like to probably move out another two or three so yeah I think if
I if I can just keep in the house anywhere from 10 10 to 15 bikes Max at any given point um we would still eat up the entire living room and the garage um and in one of my other rooms um but um anything more more than that is is too
Much at this point people have asked me about the trikes what are we going to do about trikes for this year well I don’t know about that you know the whole thing with the trikes um it it eats up more space than a bike and I know for a fact
That I would not be riding the trikes I’m just not a trike person um I might take one in to review it or something but then yeah I don’t think I can keep it yeah I I I think physically it takes up the space of at least two what two
Bikes would take because you know the with the two wheels on the back kind of sticks out further and wider so and then you need space so that you your next bike going next to it needs space so it doesn’t run into it it it takes up more space yeah and
Space is kind of a premium at this point for us so I mean if if trikes was the first thing I ever took and I didn’t take anything else I could take trikes all day long and and then we wouldn’t have any space for bikes
But uh my preference is to ride a two- wheel bike all right not not a trike so if we do the reviews it would be very very quick I would I would do the review maybe ride it once after that and then I’d probably sell it so let me know if
You want me to do that all right I mean if you’re if you’re in the Chicago area you can pick up those trikes you know because I will put them up for sale if you’re in Chicago area and you’re interested in trikes let me know cuz I
Don’t want to take on a trike and then be stuck with it and can’t get rid of it either so that that would be bad so and and again people have asked me why don’t you sell them I can’t repack them yeah you’d have to pick them up I can’t I
Can’t ship them across the country cuz um first off they’d be expensive to ship secondly I’d have to disassemble everything I assembled stick it back in a box and then ship it it’s just it’s just a little too much so yeah I think you have to look for local uh YouTubers
If you’re looking for a trike to buy from a YouTuber okay cuz I think they’re all going to pretty much do the same thing they’re probably not going to want to ship it so still drinking this stuff so anyway what else is going to be new for this coming year well
Um I would like to see us go to different places this year that we hadn’t gone last year last year we did the bike to drive thing we did um we did you know down downtown Chicago we we went to D County as well Wisconsin and
We rode up there so I don’t know where else there would be interesting to go but yeah I I’d like to at least maybe do one more outer trip where we can get out of this general area um as you know most of my bike rides in the past uh hover
Around the same general areas um because I usually I’ll ride a distance then turn on the camera and then just ride and talk okay I mean we’ve gotten to the point where most of you guys know the general area that I usually go to it’d
Be fun to go on some other areas to go with right now my preference still is riding on the street over riding on on a bike path uh because we we get a lot of negativity on on the bike paths as you know just uh last year last year just
Just like a week or so ago you know the guy called me out you know saying that my bike was illegal I get that kind of comment more so if I’m riding in some type of path I don’t get that as much riding on the street okay this is one of
The reasons why I prefer to ride on the street too because I’m not going to hear that as much from people um yeah let’s talk about that let’s talk about how we get negativity sent to us maybe it’s a terrible thing to start out the year with but since
It’s in my brain let’s talk about it okay if you ride on a bike path and you’re on a ebike and especially if you’re on a 26 by4 INE Fat Tire ebike you’re probably going to run into somebody who’s going to say something to you yeah I I really don’t like it you
Know it’s really undeserved um you know for the guy to say it was illegal come on if it’s illegal why do we even have like an ebike um store in in our general area why why is that okay is he selling a bunch of illegal products no he’s not
It’s the ignorance that happens from people who don’t understand the laws for ebikes and others have told me it’s because of the jealousy that they have have for our ebikes I’m beginning to think that might actually be the case yeah there might be a certain amount of
Jealousy there now if you’re on the bike paths most of these bike paths will not allow you to go faster than anywhere between say 12 and 15 miles per hour okay so um as you know I like to ride faster and I ride a lot faster on the
Streets but I don’t tend to do that on the bike path although some people have said hey you do and you know yeah I don’t I actively try to stay under 18 M hour yeah and then if it’s um if it’s a bike path that’s 15 I’ll probably hover
Between 15 and 18 so yeah you’re breaking the law yeah tell me you haven’t when you’ve driven the car all right so it’s 35 M hour you haven’t gone 36 37 or 38 accidentally come on it happens all right you shouldn’t be mentioning stuff like this to people
Right so um yeah so that’s why I kind of feel it is a certain amount of jealousy that happens cuz they see you riding this expensive bike they don’t have one they’re going to say something that’s that’s my feeling I think that that’s a good chunk of why comments happen um
They make comment because they think um it’s safety issue really have you seen how fast some of the regular bike riders ride ride they they ride faster than us I’ve been passed up by a number of people on non-electric bikes while I’m on the bike path yeah they’ll just zoom right past
Me I don’t know if they do that because they want to prove that hey I can go just as fast as you or whether they do it you know because they do it I think they do it because they do it and and here’s why I think so because and these
Are usually the guys that have all the spandex on we will call them the spandex group right they ride fast they ride fast they they they they do their best to go as fast as they can yeah that’s how I feel they don’t put all that stuff
Aerodynamic type of clothing on so that they can ride 9 M an hour come on on be realistic they’re they’re trying to go quick okay they’re trying to cut down that wind resistance that’s why they wear all that stuff so uh take a look at the average e-biker do they wear all
That stuff no first off we don’t have to our Motors will take us faster than that um but they do and that’s why I keep think thinking um we get comments sent to our direction that really is not right yeah so anyways if you have a comment about
This put a comment in the comments below tell me what you think about this whole thing where people make comments to you uh that are undeserved now I mean if you’re going to be breaking the law and you’re doing you know 25 miles an hour
In on the bike path then you deserve to be yelled at okay I would agree with those people then but if you if you stay within the law and you still get commented on what do you think about that okay anyways that’s about all I have for you
