Raptee Energy is one of the new players in the burgeoning electric motorcycle industry in India. The company recently presented its latest innovations at the Global Investors Meet (GIM) in Tamil Nadu. Here, the company showcases an interesting electric motorcycle that is expected to hit Indian roads in April 2024. As of this writing, the motorcycle doesn’t have a name, so we’ll call it the Raptee Electric Motorcycle. During the GIM, Raptee shows off the inner workings of its electric motorbike via a “transparent” screen, which shows all the inner workings of the motorbike and their place inside the bike.
Raptee Energy claims that this electric motorcycle has quite impressive performance with a claimed top speed of 135 kilometers per hour (84 miles per hour) and a single charge range of 150 kilometers (93 miles). Additionally, Raptee says the bike can charge up to 80 percent in just 45 minutes via the CCS2 charging station. While this may not matter much when compared to western countries, it is worth noting that India’s roads are congested, and its cities are closely connected.
