Connect your smartphone | MINI How-To
Completely connected with the multiple connectivity solutions in your MINI with Operating System 9 like Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. Integrate your smartphone in your MINI via Bluetooth: Go to “Connect Telephone” and select “Connect new device”. Make sure WiFi and Bluetooth are activated on your smartphone.
Select your device when it’s shown on the MINI Interaction Unit. Check your smartphone’s menu. A pairing code appears on your smartphone and on the MINI Interaction Unit. Does it match? Perfect! Click “Pair”. Now choose between Bluetooth only or if you want to use wireless Apple CarPlay aswell.
Apple CarPlay is launched automatically by confirming the data transfer. Swipe right to see the apps overview. The Home Button in the bottom center brings you back to the MINI menu. With the now added CarPlay button you can enter it at any time.
