Saw this video earlier. Some gripes about their electric car comparison.

They choose the highest peak charge in all their examples. The highest allowed cost per unit at 29p per unit at home. The highest cost associated with a Tesla Supercharger at 52p per unit.

They also argue that the Tesla Model Y they used on the test was comparable because of **price** but don’t acknowledge that the Peugeot 5008 is a 5 seater and the Y is a 7 seater.

They state the Tesla was the **most expensive** for their ‘long range’ test. But the difference between the Tesla and Peugeot petrol was £0.07. I’d hardly state that it is the most expensive when such a small difference is well within the margin of error. Especially considering they were already choosing to use the most expensive prices on the electric car.

They compared the **actual** cost of carbon fuel to an **estimated** cost on the electric car. For fairness, it should’ve been the actual cost in all scenarios.

Climate change is a thing. Petrol and diesel are no longer an option. Cost doesn’t come into this.
