Welcome to the runoff cutch and this is the allnew era 5000 plus launched by mattera this is a startup company from Ahmedabad that has launched this electric motorcycle the unique feature of this motorcycle is that it comes with a gear box so uh while we here we going
To be riding this motorcycle and uh we going to let you know about how it is to ride how is the performance about the features the design and all of that but before we get going if you’re new to our channel do subscribe to us and hit that

Tank section handles the battery pack beneath it is the powertrain and moving further you have got a split seat design which is cool and while we are here you also have got a storage compartment okay so you can store your knickknacks and everything and then the charging port is
Over here so so it’s all what all you need is right over here uh moving further so was the back you got a nice tapered tail section and it’s got a quite cool looking tail lamp and then you got these split grab rails uh as you can see these alloy wheels are pretty
Cool in design and quite striking speaking of the liy this one has got a matte blue liy with yellow highlights and in my opinion it looks pretty cool overall I can see that this motorcycle has got a futuristic funky and a very unique design which uh definitely does
Appeal to me and it should appeal to the young crowd as well let us know in the comments what do you think about the design of this electric motorcycle which is the main highlight that stood out the most for You the era 5000 plus packs a LGE 7in touch sensitive color TFT screen that is loaded with features to the brim everything from the details of each strip to the overall stats including max speed acceleration and lean angle is available you get Rider profiles a notification tab for messages built-in
Videos for vehicle care tips navigation via map my India and a bunch of options in the settings window to set up the motorcycle as per the user’s preference the main screen has the option to switch between a mini map right stats and music Controls let’s talk about the ergonomics of the era 5000 Plus as you can see it is quite easy to swing a leg over this motorcycle I am 57 and I’m able to comfortably flat foot on this motorcycle so the seat height set on it is 790 mm uh whereas the curve
Weight is 169 kg which is very much manageable you are able to easily move the motorcycle between your legs uh speaking of the riding triangle the foot Peg slightly rear set so you have a comfortable yet sporty appeal to it uh speaking about the bar you get a two-piece handlebar and this
Large touchcreen which sits in the center and along with that you have the view of the different colored body panels so the view of the road ahead and the cockpit view of the motorcycle gives you a pretty cool feel and quite appealing let’s talk about the performance aspects of the era 5000 plus
Now this electric motorcycle comes with a 10.5 Kow permanent magnet motor that is paired to a four-speed gearbox and powering that is a 5 Kow battery pack that comes with inbuilt liquid cooling how cool is that then you have three running modes Eco City and sport in
Sport mode you can achieve a top speed of 105 kmph while we managed to clock around 103 kmph on the open road apart from that acceleration is at 0 to 60 in 6 seconds while we didn’t have any testing equipment to confirm that so we’ll have to test about that later uh
Next let’s talk about the handling and Agility aspect of this motorcycle so at the front you have got T Forks at the rear you have twin shock absorbs that are gas charged the front is pretty good but at the rear the suspension is slightly on the stiffer side so as long
As you’re riding in the city it shouldn’t be a problem as for the brakes they do a decent job of sharing speed uh while there’s a good bite available at the front it does lack a bit of progression overall this is quite a fun bike because of the Nimble nature and uh
The performance that it packs so you can have a good lot of fun with it while in the city you have got features and different riding modes and different configurations with the gearbox that you can play around With the matter era 5000 plus is priced at rupees 1.84 lakh X shom post Revis Fame subsidary the company also has the era 5,000 which is a low variant priced at rupe 1.74 lakh and comes with lesser features but the same power Trin in terms of competition it Rivals the likes
Of the Open Drawer and the talk cattos are so after the day of riding the brand new Mata era 5000 plus I got to say this is quite a fun motorcycle and it looks pretty cool too as far as the cost is concerned the initial acquisition cost
Is kind of high but it all settles out with the lower running cost apart from that there are few things to be concerned over here that is quality levels of pretty much in place this panel and then this charging panel is a bit flimsy so it is a bit of a concern
