Hi Elie soet here with a hot tip and my tip is to make sure that you practice practice practice with all your safety gear it’s incredibly important that you know how to properly use your transceiver shovel and probe because if you’re in a rescue scenario and someone

Is buried in an avalanche their rate of survival is at 85% if you reach them within 15 minutes that chance of survival drops to 50% within 30 minutes and all the way down to 20% if it takes about an hour so make sure you know how to use that gear right

Elyse Saugstad shares her hot tips at the SAFE AS Clinic, which promotes avalanche safety and is funded by #BroncoWildFund to help educate outdoor enthusiasts for nature’s unpredictability.
