More aggressive rubber what we done here so you don’t actually need to do that on the zismo we knew that to go faster on a track we needed to have a performance oriented tire so we went with a version of the GTR Dunlop tires that we knew had
The capability and the capacity and we tuned them specific for z now back here we also have half an inch wider wheel that allows us to put on a bigger tire and that means more grip for handling and more traction for acceleration love to learn what that means for the chassis
Can we pop this on a lift sounds great so Christian now that we have it on a lift I want to talk about these Dunlop tires providing so much additional grip we’ve had to make some other changes in the car to accommodate that extra traction right that’s exactly right it’s
A total system so you can’t just put on grip your tires and assume the handling is going to increase because of that increased traction we had to increase the stiffness of several components in the vehicle that includes the suspension bushings the steering rack mounting and we added additional bracing in the body
Structure as well we have larger monotube dampers we’ve got increased spring rate rates and increase stabilizer bar rates so what that means is we basically retune the entire suspension and that’s in the name of going faster on a racetrack thanks so much for watching check out the other videos in this
