2024 Z NISMO: Design | Nissan Garage Exclusives
I’m here with Christian Spencer with Nissan R&D and we are taking up close look at engineering on the 2024 Nissan Z Nismo this time we’re talking design first things first Christian the car looks excellent can you tell us a little bit about what is purely for performance
And what’s purely for design so all the changes we made to the exterior provide some functional performance benefit that starts with the new longer nose the grand nose or G nose because of the way it references the old 240Z the front fascia has a much more aggressive profile and you’ll notice the signature
Nismo red stripe that really grounds out the car on the racetrack further back the katana blade finisher is finished in dark gray metallic and we also have new 19in forged rais wheels they’re half an inch wider at the back and they’re also a little bit bit lighter and then
Finally we have the new three-piece spoiler it’s wider it’s taller and really rounds out the look of the ziso let’s talk about the interior that’s where we’re really seeing this balance of Form and Function can you tell me a little bit about that we tried to keep
It really simple in the interior and didn’t make too many changes but definitely wanted to carry through the signature red Nismo theme on the instrument cluster also on the start stop button and the drive mode selector as well the steering wheel has a new red stripe at the top and it’s covered in
Alcantara the biggest change for the interior is the new rard seats not only do they look great in leather and Alcantara but they’re also really supportive and hold you in place so overall being inside this cockpit is really a great place to be thanks so much for watching check out
