Rivian Unveils Trio of New Electric Vehicles

Rivan just introduced not one not two but three all new vehicles the allnew R2 not D2 R3 and r3x basically they’re the smaller rivan the R2 looks a lot like if you took a regular rivan r1s and kind of shrunk it down to 75% it’s definitely a much smaller vehicle but it still

Maintains that classic rivan look now that’s the car we were expecting to hear about what we were not expecting at all was the all new R3 now that car is based on the r2’s platform which is an allnew platform for rivan comes to either rear wheel drive or there’s a tri motor setup

With two in the back one in the front rivan says with that new setup plus its new bigger battery you should able to get over 300 Mi of range and do 0 to 60 in less than 3 seconds really not too shabby personally my favorite car that

They unveiled is the r3x I mean just look at it it is so cool looking does it look look a little bit like a Hyundai ionic 5 and a lot of Nea had a baby sure but what a gorgeous baby it is in terms of price honestly we’re not 100% sure

Yet rivan did say that the R2 is going to come in at about 45 Grand to start then the R3 and 3X are going to be cheaper than it in terms of when it’s going to come out I think 2026 is what they were saying and then the R3 and r3x

Will be coming after that so guys you know know my thoughts on rivan’s Trio of new vehicles I think they are super duper cool and a really good move for a brand that could use a little bit more volume but what do you think let me know

The R2 rides on a brand new platform that uses a 4695-cell battery pack, with bigger cells than R1. Single-motor (RWD), dual-motor (AWD) and tri-motor (AWD) variants will be offered, with the top-end model able to run from 0 to 60 mph in “well under” 3 seconds. Every motor configuration will achieve more than 300 miles of range and can charge from 10 to 80 percent in less than 30 minutes, and the R2 will use the NACS charge port.

Customers can reserve an R2 starting today, with the base price set at an estimated $45,000. Deliveries start in the first half of 2026 — earlier than expected, with Rivian saying it will first enter production at its existing Normal, Illinois plant instead of the brand’s upcoming Georgia factory. Eventually, total capacity in Illinois will reach 215,000 units per year. Rivian also pulled off a major surprise, debuting the even smaller and even cuter R3 and rally-inspired R3X models, which will go into production after the R2.
