2024 TOYOTA C-HR plug-in hybrid first look

The 2024 TOYOTA C-HR has a “super coupe” profile and gets 20-inch alloy wheels and a two-tone paint job. Toyota went the extra mile to reduce closed lines and better integrate the cameras, sensors and headlight washers to give the body a smoother appearance for a cleaner design with better aero. In terms of dimensions, the new model is 4360 mm long, 1830 mm wide and 1558 mm (61.3 inches) or 1564 mm high, depending on the version.Entering the cabin with a wheelbase of 2,640 mm, the fully digital instrument cluster measures 12.3 inches combined with a touch screen of the same size. More luxurious versions also get a head-up display, 64-color ambient lighting, a panoramic roof, and a JBL sound system. Toyota hasn’t bothered to give up buttons for frequently used functions, even though the screens are getting bigger with new car generations. As expected, the new C-HR will be available in Europe exclusively with hybrid power. The 1.8-liter unit and 2.0-liter plug-in hybrid configuration only come in front-wheel-drive form, while the 2.0-liter hybrid can be had with optional AWD. In terms of power, the base 1.8-liter unit produces a combined output of 140 hp, followed by the 2.0-liter engine with 198 hp and the PHEV with 223 hp.#toyota #toyotachr #2024 @Nextnewcar
