It has a nice appearance, comfortable, plush seats, and a calm ride. While there aren’t many issues with the 2025 Lexus NX, it’s still not the best subcompact luxury SUV available. There are four powertrain options available for the NX: a hybrid (NX350h), a plug-in hybrid (NX450h+), two conventional gas engines (NX250 and NX350), and a hybrid (NX350h). After all, Lexus’ parent business created the Prius, so it knows a thing or two about hybrids. The NX450h+ PHEV not only has an amazing 550 miles of combined gas and electric range according to the EPA, but it also shares 304 horsepower with the Toyota RAV4 Prime. Even in F Sport version, the NX is not your typical thrill ride, even though it is quite nimble. Instead, Lexus’s second-smallest crossover is designed for daily commuting to the workplace or store; it’s also a great car for leisurely sightseeing excursions with loved ones. Consider the Audi Q3, BMW X1, Mercedes-Benz GLA-class, or any of the NX’s competitors if you’re looking for a car with more enjoyment behind the wheel.
