Is This The End For Electric Cars? – Are Our EV Dreams DOOMED?
We’re about to see a flood of new plug-in hybrids (PHEVs) and hybrids hitting markets across the world. Particularly in the US, but other countries are likely to follow suit. That’s because the US recently passed a new rule that requires substantial emissions reductions from the transportation sector. But between the rule being proposed and being released, the requirement for vehicles to be fully zero emissions switched to allowing the fleet emissions to be met using PHEVs.
So is now a terrible time to buy and EV? And what’s going to happen to the EV transition?
