Currently, Panasonic operates a battery factory in Nevada and is in the process of building another one in Kansas. These plants are part of Panasonic’s ambitious plan to ramp up their battery production capacity to a staggering 200 gigawatt hours by March 2031. But all that could be in jeopardy now.
