The new Mercedes-Benz E-Class PHEV was officially unveiled at the 2024 Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area Auto Show, which will open on June 1. The plug-in hybrid version of the 11th generation Mercedes-Benz E-Class The new Mercedes-Benz E-Class PHEV continues to be called “E 350 e L” and is powered by the 2.0T plug-in hybrid system. In terms of appearance, it is not fundamentally different from the first released fuel version. The main difference is the addition of a charging port and the use of “E 350 e L”. It also appears that the new car has sedan and sports sedan design styles. The sports sedan-style model features a “night star” style air intake grille and AMG body style.
In terms of body size, its length, width and height are 5092/1880/1489 mm respectively, and its wheelbase is 3094 mm.
In terms of interior, its overall layout is quite consistent with the fuel version, providing an independently designed 12.3-inch floating full LCD instrument display and a 14.4-inch central control screen, while the third one is also highly consistent with the fuel version. In addition, it will offer a navigation-assisted driving system at the L2+ level, 360-degree surround ambient lighting, extended rear seat cushions, rear “boss button”, luxury rear center armrest, rear seat heating and other features.
In terms of power, it adopts Mercedes-Benz’s fourth-generation plug-in hybrid technology. The power system consists of a 2.0T engine and an electric motor. The system has a comprehensive power of 230 kilowatts. and a comprehensive torque of 550 Nm. Supported by a kilowatt-hour battery pack, the pure electric cruising range in WLTP operating conditions reaches 106 kilometers and is equipped with DC fast charging.
