Now this is very cool. I have always been a fan of lotus, this looks like what lotus should have done with its ev project. Chinese owners of lotus missed the point of lotus, to improve performance, add lightness.

I will buy this vehicle if it’s as good as the article says and if they are not using Chinese parts (I will investigate it when it comes to market)

i like the fast charging and weight and looks but the range is gonna be what 150mi At most? As to the cost that’s what I wanna know. Would be cool if they made a convertible too

Interesting charge speed, but come on…. 35kWh that means no range, in summer!

Now this is more like it! Small battery, keeping weight and cost down, but ultra fast charging speeds. I don’t mind stopping more often if it means I can top it up in 5 mins!!!

  5. Sounds like a track toy. If you put it on a trailer and drive to a track with a fast charger you can do 30min of driving, 5min of charging 30min driving…

Maybe use it as a daily for commuting. Not going to do longer trips in such a small car anyway.

Big fan of the Elise and *really* like this concept. Which makes reality more painful: this will never be sold. They made a sexy prototype for marketing reasons. Their business is selling battery tech, not sports cars.

Reminds me a lot of the smart roadster which was a really fun drive.

(Fun fact: Originally Mercedes had planned the smart roadster as an electric car – and that was back in 2000 or thereabouts. Glad to see that someone actually made it a reality – even if it took a few decades)
