I’m a Ford guy, but I have to go with Pontiac. Doesn’t get much better than the 1964-1966 Bonneville/Catalina.

Sorry I gotta go with Dodge then Pontiac..

That Riviera is beautiful
SlyClydesdale
Buick is certainly up there, but AMC/Rambler is my vote.
Especially the 1963-69 Classic, Rebel, and Ambassador models, the 68-69 Javelin and AMX, and the 64-65 Rambler American. The 65-66 Marlin is the exception that proves the rule.

Pontiac or buick. And I’m a ford guy. Though I will say the 69 mercury cougar is probably my favorite luxury sports car of the 60s. Though I wouldn’t say no to a Buick GS or a pontiac le Mans from. 69 and 67 respectively.

I think the 1960’s were the golden age for Detroit in general. Every US manufacturer had some great cars. 1961 Imperial, 1960 Buick, 1966 Buick Riviera. 1961 Thunderbird. 1965 Mustang. 1968 Plymouth Road Runner. The Studebaker Avanti. 1961 Lincoln Continental. 1965 Chevy Impala. One of the favorites I owned was a 1968 Ford Fairlane 500 2 door.

That’s a big argument about favorites but I think if you did a poll you would see the majority of people favored vehicles on the General Motors side more than the Ford, Chrysler, and American Motors.

Buick, no doubt. The 1st Gen Rivieras were gorgeous.
The 65 Riviera is recognized by several afficionados as the most beautiful car that ever came out of Detroit.

Chevy. 67-69 Camero// Impala// 64-70 Chevelle, .. (BTW the 70 was built in late 69 So I can count it) I still favor the 68. // Corvette 60-67. //Chevy II, Nova… //Even the 1960s pickup trucks are cool.
Add big blocks to any of these.

No question, PONTIAC.

Modern buicks look like they are built exclusively for Chinese market. What happened to the design really? Wish they brought some of 60/70’s design back tbh

Going to say Cadillac, and I’m a Ford and Ram guy lol.
