Yea legacy auto has fooled us enough with their rosey EV predictions that never happen. Tesla makes predictions, but has delivered on most, and things like FSD at least there is real progress we can see and use.
Like software is something that is totally possible today to do correctly and Ford can’t even get that right.

I won’t be in the market but I am all for more EVs on the roads and for sale – hell, even if they are crap Teslas. Anything to help the numbers.
More EVs on the market, the more chargers we will se, the cheaper they will be, and the models I’ll look at in 10 years will be all the better.

Ford says a lot of things. They never hit these future goals because they slash their staffing and reduce EV lines/factories. Ford press releases are worthless.

Ranger EV would be bad ass. I still cannon understand how they didn’t make the explorer EV. That thing already sells would and would get a lot of model Y buyers who just don’t want an Elon mobile
