MPV Tehran Type – a one-off supposedly for the Shah of Iran’s son in the ’70s. The internet claims it was co-produced by Mercedes, Porsche and VW, but I am skeptical of the internet. On display at the National Car Museum of Iran alongside the many, many other cars owned by the Shah.

   Reminds me of the Panther Lazer, another car owned by the shah of Iran (Its actually the blue car next to it)

   IIRC these cars are currently in the Iranian national car Museum.
