Probably not many. I love Genesis but I don’t see this being work $50K+ more than the Ioniq 5 N.

lol. If I had a $120k budget for a car, this sure as hell wouldn’t be it.

You can get a Plaid for under $90k.

  3. If they had Dr Evil saying, “Liquid hot magma”, all of them.

I don’t think many people with that kind of money are going to drop it on a Hyundai. Strange.

I like the GV60 a lot, but the base model has just such a low battery. 120 is a big ask for the Magma, as cool as it is

I still have a hard time swallowing the idea that there are Hyundais out there that cost more than $30k….

I bought a IONIQ 5N for under MSRP, pretty sure they’re going to have a rough time trying to get 120 for this thing, as nice as it looks

I don’t think the idea of a flagship model is to sell a lot of them. It’s more to sell the image of the brand as a whole, making other Genesis cars or other GV60s look good by association.

  9. That’s a $50k price premium over an Ioniq 5N for what, exactly? The Genesis brand prestige ™️? That’s Porsche Taycan territory.

A new Lucid Air Touring starts at $78k. Used examples in the 60s.

    A new i5 M60 starts at $84k. I see one used example below $70k.

A new Model S Plaid starts at $88k, and a Model X Plaid starts at $93k. Used S Plaid’s are low 60s right now.

An iX x50 starts at $88k, and an iX M60 starts at $111k.

A new Macan EV turbo starts at $105k.

Tell me what I’m missing here.

  10. There is something about brand expectation that biases people I think. If it has the ioniq N features and the right amount of luxury, I would

A lot, these cars are dope… why but a model s when you can buy this!

That’s nicely equipped BMW M3 money, I don’t expect them to sell many at that price 😬

120k? that’s just fancy seats, and “Italian interior”, and special colorway.

    >Hyundai hope to sell at $120k?

….to the family of 5? zero. but maybe they’re not targeting that segment…?

not every single car made has to be a practical-wagon. that’s NEVER been true.. why should it be that way because EV?

    100k because not shiny.

Lmao 120k? Oh boy, the R3x is gonna wipe this real fast!

  15. pgsimon77

By judging by the demand for cyber trucks and other super premium EVs / probably quite a few + )

  16. M_Equilibrium

When there is macan Ev this is a hard sell.

At this price range from Hyundai I would expect tri motors with a very large capacity battery at least.

  17. Far as I remember the entire magma line is already sold and accounted for
