    US needs to mandate %EV sales, not MPG. Big Oil is good at this game, keeping us thinking about MPG.

    Australia is known for legislation that you can drive a truck through.

    Australian dealers are not used to having a lot of stock on hand. We are still recovering from covid shortages.

    Not sure Toyota could supply excess Prados and Landcruisers into Australia.

    Also, all big US ‘trucks’ are generally converted to drive on Australian roads by companies with limited capacity.

    I think the article is over blown and suggesting a future that will just not happen
