My dad had the red Plymouth, but in a gold-ish color. Many family road trips were had in the mid-70s with all seats down. Seat belts were not a big concern!

Is the orange Mopar a true production car or a custom job?

The red Plymouth………383ci 4bbl TorqueFlite transmission hotrod grocery getter!!

  5. HempFandang0

Gotta be that Plymouth; I just love the big wide grille with the hidden headlights, makes it look like a whale shark with its mouth open

Gimmie that Coronet behemoth. Strictly for the Grabber orange paint and muscle car hood.

Would like to have seen a Mennonite wagon. One horsepower.

Dodge then Plymouth but really these are all awesome.

  9. motoscott17

The red AMC Eagle 4wd in the last picture.

How do you not go for the Corner 440. Perfect dad-mobile.

  11. SQWRLLY1

I really want the last photo to be the Griswolds’ Ford LTD Country Squire wagon with that color scheme…

The LTD Country Squire, followed by the Marquis, then the Fury, then the Ambassador and then the remaining Mopars

Guess I’m basic but I like ford.

  14. ironmanchris

The Plymouth because we had a 1972 when I was a kid.

  15. portlypanda

All of them I want them all. Can’t afford them though.

  16. CanoliWorker432

    All nice…..except maybe the dodge

  17. Interesting-Rough528

I’d take that ambassador. As a matter of fact tried to buy that very car 2 weeks ago at the rambler ranch!

Mine’s a different shade of red, but I have a Concord wagon similar to the Hornet/Concord wagon in the background of the last picture. It’s…not been the best of experiences.

The Ford for nostalgia reasons, the Dodge for right now reasons.
