I recently went to look at a 93 Toyota 4 runner for sale and I’m interested. The price is 3kUSD, but there are a few things that need work. One is the rear drivers side sway bar has sheered off(picture) from the axel ((I think)), my first question is how much of a problem is that to get fixed, price and just overall issue?
Secondly, while looking under the hood, with the engine running, I went to pull the oil dipstick out and as soon as I did the engine slowed down it’s idling quite substantially, I’ve never experienced that or heard of that happening before, I’d really appreciate some insight on this issue as well.
So finally I ask, is it work 3kUSD, the body has a decent amount of rust but the frame seems ok. Other than the two problems I’ve asked about it seems decent.
Again, I’m pretty green when it comes to cars and really appreciate any insight on these issues. Thanks in advance!!
