Does anyone know what this does 1985 fleetwood

I keep seeing these in salvage yards and have no idea what they do. Any info would be greatly appreciated!

Lift it up to activate the 4-way hazard flashers??

  2. You slide it left to adjust the wheel closer or further away, then slide it right to lock it in place.

That definitely turns on your flashers. Ohhh boy. Tell me you’ve never driven an older car before. My first truck, turn signals were optional! (1962 Chevy)

Wow that’s a nice steering wheel & interior

This is 100% for the telescopic steering wheel adjustment. The hazzard button is under the ignition on the right side.

This link to a Fleetwood column on ebay shows the truth.

I’m a retired GM Mechanic from the 80s and 90s. I used to be able to go to the Cadillac dealership where they would let me look at and photo copy service manuals and wiring diagrams to help me fix Cadillacs I was working on at my shop. For free. Bet they don’t do that anymore. 🙂

  6. That right there, Norm, is your Mick adjustment…
