Electric car charging | How to start, stop and pay using Motability Go Charge
Lease an electric car (EV) on the Motability Scheme and you’ll get a Motability Go Charge card as part of your worry-free lease package.
Motability Go Charge gives you access to over 50,000 public chargepoints across more than 30 providers, all through one card and app. That’s over half of all chargepoints in the UK, including 70% of all rapid chargepoints.

The Motability Scheme provides worry-free motoring for over 760,000 people across the UK. You can exchange your qualifying mobility allowance to lease a car, Wheelchair Accessible Vehicle (WAV), scooter or powered wheelchair on the Scheme. Insurance, maintenance and breakdown cover are all included in the price you pay, so you can enjoy the freedom that comes from an all-inclusive lease.
And when you lease your first fully electric car on the Scheme, we’ll support you with charging. We’ll arrange and cover the cost of a home chargepoint and a standard installation, or give you access to a network of public chargepoints, as well as a Motability Go Charge card.
