My kids were aghast when they saw the interior of my new-to-me 2006 Silverado WT.

“Why can’t the windows go up automatically?”

What I don’t get is how the seats have gotten less comfortable

2003-2006 GMs have quite possibly the most seats of any car or truck ever.

Another thing, even the poverty spec tacomas is all digital now. Seems like the only true poverty specs left are Dodge tradesmen and to a lesser degree GM W/T

Yeah I can’t stand all the digital. I have a 2018 4Runner and told them I want it as basic as possible as long as it has 4WD. 4WD and cruise control. If I could I’d make the transmission and windows manual as well.

Car companies: “We need emissions and safety exceptions for trucks because people need trucks to do real work.”

Also car companies: “We put in luxury leather and a touch screen because we know you haven’t done a day of physical labor in your whole life, then we reduced the bed size so that there is more room for kids in the back and the trailer hitch is optional because you will probably never use it.”

That photo reinforces my decision to have purchased a Tesla. God, that is absolutely hideous!

Hidden in this photo is the DUI Ignition interlock that comes standard on RAM products.

Pickups like this are minivans for people who think minivans aren’t cool enough

Laughs at you in Australian Toyota Hilux.

Australia has been flooding with Chevrolet Silverados and RAM trucks. The Ford F-150 is also on sale and the eventual arrival of the Toyota Tundra.
